OMG what a difference Youth Options has done for Jack. Jack did not fit into a school classroom environment due to his Severe Dyslexia and Morbid auditory processing, he was recommended for Youth Options from the 1st week of Year 10.
Youth Options offered him a number of learning styles coupled with fluid hours of attendance. Jack suffered anxiety and depression at times and was always supported by counsellors and education staff at Youth Options.
Jack would always complete his allocated work. Jack was pushed to attend when times were hard but succeeded. Jack always handed his work in on time and participated when needed.
He was offered lots of support and staff would always attend when emergencies arose, home visits, visits to courses.
Jack has evolved and become a confident man as a result of Youth Space, the credit lies with the staff.

I feel welcome and supported. This is important to me because sometimes things don’t go to plan or get hard and its easy to get frustrated. My mentor Nick is awesome – he is very patient and understanding. He takes his time to explain and teach you new techniques or easier ways to do things.
